The San Diego Rock and Roll Marathon has been “rocking” strong for the past 12 years.The average temperature at the start of the race is in the low 60s.This scenic 26.2 mile course is quick and is ideal for runners and walkers.Both runners and walkers can enjoy the 26 different entertainment stages that are set-up throughout the course.
The Rock and Roll Marathon starts at BalboaPark, runs through Hillcrest, passes The World Famous San Diego Zoo, goes through the newly built PetcoPark baseball stadium, the historic Gaslamp District, San DiegoHarbor, Seaworld and ends at the Marine Corps Recruit Depot at Point Loma.

Notice that you will start your incline running during miles 5-10, so pace yourself accordingly for the first 5 miles or you may "hit the wall" during mile 10.
The Rock and Roll Marathon finished in the secured area at the Marine Corps Recruit Depot (MCRD) in Point Loma.There is a full medical staff (if needed), tons of water and other refreshments, as well as your finisher’s medal for completing the race.
